Service climate is a subset of organisational climate
– that is, employees’ shared perceptions of what is truly important
in their organisation. This notion (service climate) builds upon the
view that in interpreting their work environment, employees integrate
their day-to-day perceptions of workplace events with macroperceptions
of climates, which capture the important aspects of
their work environment. When excellent service is an important
theme in an organisation, then a positive service climate exists
