Production Process
The four major steps of our process are introduced briefly below and summarized in a flow chart found at the bottom of this page.
Reception of Raw Material
After reception, the moisture level of the incoming paddy is measured. The raw material is then bound for pre-cleaning and silo storage.
Parboiling
This step consists of four major stages: the paddy is first soaked, then cooked with steam before being dried and tempered.
Milling
Dehusking the paddy followed by the removal of the bran are the first two stages of this third step. The next stages consists of removing brokens, and colour sorting the milled grains for impeccable quality.
Loading for Export
In this final step, the rice is ready for export and is either packed, loaded into barges or stored in silo for ulterior loading.
