wettability of the fabric is essential. But if the time-effect is not effectively
inhibited, themethodofplasma jetwillbedifficult tobe applied
in textile. So the method of this article is a good way for the plasma
application and the clean wool sizing.
Undoubtedly, the stable wettability of textile was caused by
the stable hydrophilic molecules on the textile surface, so the
wool surface before the treatment, during the treatment and after
the treatment needs to be studied, especially the real time study
of the wool surface and the gas component near the wool surface
during the treatment is necessary. Studying the real time problem
of the wool surface treated by the plasma jet is not only useful
for the parameter optimization, but also for the research of
the principles of the plasma affection on the solid surface. Since
nowadays the electric technique is practical in the practical
application, the voltage of the plasma jet facility can be higher
than 4500 V, and the gases of Ar, O2, N2 and He need to be optimized
in this facility, this kind of facility may have great potentiality
in optimization to get good results of wettability.
