Stainless Steel Case
The case is exceptionally well built…It’s totally stainless steel, so it’s very durable. The diameter of the case is about 37mm, so it’s very reasonably sized. The case is made to be water resistant (200 meters) through the use of screw down crowns that tighten to prevent water from entering the watch. It’s all brushed stainless steel, with the exception of the inner bracelet links which are, as per usual, polished.
The watch face is outlined by a deep black bezel…This bezel is unidirectional and is exceptionally well built. It’s a scalloped bezel, not the coin edge which is preferred by Professional level divers (because it’s less slippery). It only really functions as a time elapsed tool, but it’s got 120 clicks for the whole rotation, so it’s accurate to half a minute.
All in all I think that the case is very solid. It’s got a certain heft to it, and much like the renowned 8926 model, it’s VERY durable.
