3.2.2. Effect of roller speed on MEA performance
In this section, roller speed is altered to examine the effect of
hot-pressing duration on the performance of MEAs. Three
different speeds of 25, 50 and 100 mm min1 were tested. One
noteworthy aspect is the contact width of the MEAs with the
rollers, which was measured by pressing a pressure sensing
film between the two rollers. This width is only ca. 2mmalong
the rolling direction, as shown by the thick line in Fig. 10. This
