In this section manager and employee agree on or update Development Objectives, activities and timelines. To quickly add a new Development Objective, click the “Create new Development Objective” button on the right. The Development Plan should contain objectives referring to competencies (Merck Competency Model) and skills (both cross-functional skills and function specific skills). Development Objectives may also support the annual Individual Objectives being set within the Performance Management Process.
