The analysis of tensile and dynamic mechanical properties
shows the possible occurrence of irradiation-induced crosslinking
in ENR-50, EVA and ENR-50/EVA blend. The existences
of irradiation-induced crosslink have improved the
tensile strength of ENR-50/EVA blend. Dynamic mechanical
analysis revealed that EB radiation improves the compatibility
of the blend and irradiation-induced crosslink has shifted the
Tg to the higher temperature. It also improves the thermal stability of ENR-50 and EVA and has a good influence on the
crystallinity of ENR-50/EVA blend.
