203. Turn the vacuum pump on
204. Open the gauge manifold high-pressure valve and remove the air in the yellow charging host
205. Close the high-pressure valve loose some the red host and turn the vacuum pump off
206. After place in the cylinder on the scale, open the cylinder valve
207. At this time, be sure to noted the reading on the scale to record it - as it will service the initial point for the amount of additional refrigerant
208. Now, start the air conditioner cooling operation
209. After the compressor start operating and the operating pressure faults, open the gauge manifold low-pressure valve to allow the additional refrigerant to be charge into the air conditioner from refrigerant cylinder
210. When the refrigerant is charged from the cylinder to the air conditioner the cylinder will become lighter and the reading on the scale will fault
211. When there is no zero reset button, carefully monitor to reading on the scale, once it’s filled 180 g below the initial reading – close the cylinder valve
212. Once the operation of the air conditioner stabilized after approximately 15 min.
213. Use the digital thermometer to measure the indoor unit suction and discharge temperature
214. Check to see the different is over 8 C then close the charging valve
