is tanbul:turkey yesterday sacked five police commissioners,a day after sons of cabinet ministers and prominent businessmen close to prime minister tayyip erdogan were detained in a corruption probe.according to the dogan news agency,the heads of the financial crimes,organised crime and smuggling units were sent down,along with two other senior officers.police declined comment.meanwhile,in india parliament approved an anti-graft bill that allows an independent ombudsman to prosecute cases of corruption by politicians and bureaucrats.the''lokpal,''bill was spurred by activist anna hazare,who has benn on hunger strike for the last nine days to ensure the bill passes.AGENCIES
