These modifications allowed to achieve a reliable operation of the stove. Immediately after ignition, flame temperature rises to high values (600–700 C), heating up gradually the rice husk, starting the gasification process. After this transitory phase, the flame
temperature keeps values in the range 550–600 C and the oxygen level in the flue decreases (12–13%). At the same time, the concentration of CO gas increases in the flue, up to 1% (1000 ppm).
