Entertaining leisure and recreational experiences share many similarities with entertaining shopping experiences as they are all subjective experiences. Research into entertaining shopping experiences has identified two broad groups of factors that, when taken together, contribute to entertaining shopping experiences these, being retailer-related factors and consumer-related factors.
Given the conclusions as previously noted that entertaining shopping experiences have much in common with entertaining leisure and recreation experiences, it would be reasonable to conclude that once adapted and made more generic in nature, the two sets of factors identified for shopping experiences would also be applicable in leisure and recreation contexts.
