In this study, dyeing was carried out using optimized irradiated dye solution at temperature between 40 and 80 C.
It is found that at high temperature colour strength values decreased as shown in Fig. 2 which might be due to desorption of colourant from fabric to the dye bath (Mughal et al., 2007).
At low temperature incomplete sorption of colourant occurs and an uneven shade is obtained but at higher temperature hydrolysis of dye may occur.
The results shown in Fig. 2 reveal that 60 C is the optimum temperature of dye.
