Overall, the interviewed participants seemed to believe that the learning organization addressed the lingering issues of de- professionalization of the nursing profession and challenges related to the transfer of knowledge in this CSSS located in a remote region. One of the learning organization’s preferred learning strategies assisted by ICT for knowledge transfer is video, in the form of DVDs or animated memos. These homemade videos allowed easier transmission, not only of the explicit knowledge associated with nursing practice, but also of the experiential knowledge embedded in nursing practice that would otherwis be hard to formalize.
