Show progress by charts. Teachers seem to be using this device much more since they began to use standard test, and newer books suggest it in a wide variety of ways. A chart that shows change over the longer period of time is the more valuable. Charts may be made for a class or an individual. The class chart shows the ventral tendency of the group as a whole, while the individual one is usually kept by each pupil for his own information. Practice in using chart of both kinds vary greatly.
