Referring from your email with K. Patchatorn we are very distressed to learn that your guest’s stay at the Emporium Suites by Chatrium was marred by the loss of about 600-700 RMB in cash. Ms. Sheng claimed that the money had been kept in the small red bag which she reckoned was either in her suitcase or on the desk during her stay.
Please know that we take matters such as this seriously and upon hearing this complaint from Khun Muttanee, and subsequently from your email dated 22 April 2016, our Safety and Security Manager and his team carried out a thorough investigation. The Room Attendants who accessed the suite for housekeeping were all separately interrogated.
We have now concluded the investigation into the loss of Ms. Sheng’s money that she claimed disappeared in her suite about April 17th – 21st. Regrettably in our investigation, we are unable to trace the missing cash nor establish any solid evidence that may implicate any of those Housekeeping staff mentioned for its disappearance.
While we are fully cognizant of our obligation to ensure that the premises are safe and secure for lives and property of guests, however, there are also guest responsibilities over their valuables. There is a safety box in all suites for this purpose.
We are indeed very sorry that your guest experienced this loss and appreciate your kind understanding over this regrettable incident. Meanwhile, let me assure you that our guests can rely on our integrity and good service at all times.
