The method of the present invention

The method of the present invention is characterized in producing polyploid plants from the endopolyploid cells in tissue culture materials by plant tissue culture techniques without using any chemical agent, such as colchicine or other antimicrotubule agents. Advantageously, the method can produce a large amount of the polyploid plants of orchids and simplify the entire process of orchid polyploidy breeding.
