P. ulyssiponensis: Data from the sites on the Atlantic coast (G1 and G2) adjusted well to a sinusoidal model (Table 2), showing a clear temporal pattern similar to the one observed for P. depressa in the same sites, with an energetic condition peaking September, a period of energy expenditure between November and February, followed by a period of energy restoration from March to June (Fig. 4d). Data from the Cantabrian site R1 did not fit the model and thus were not included, as discussed in the next section. For these two sites, coast type and exposure were not variable.
