Set theory was created by Cantor, a German mathematician, in the late 19th
century. Its language is a basic language of modern mathematics. Using the language
one can represent some mathematical contents precisely and concretely. The senior
secondary mathematics curriculum treats set theory simply as one language for
students to learn, and students will learn how to deploy the most basic language of set
theory to represent related mathematical objects, as well as develop abilities for
exchanges using mathematical language.
