The beautiful little English village of crossington, only 1,200 people living there, is a peaceful with place to live once again. Until the 1970s, ton was quiet, but in the 1980s, traffic on the main road outside of town got much worse. Drivers decided to go through the middle of the village because that way they would avoid the traffic jams on the highway. By the 1990s, crossington was both noisy and crowded. Hundreds of cars and trucks were passing through the village and most were going over the 50 km per hour speed limit. The roads in Crossington were becoming very dangerous. Finally, in 2002, the village council changed the speed limit to 35 km per hour. The roads became less busy, the village quieted down, and the townspeople were happy once again.
