What can I do If I received a payment email, but no payment?
If you received a notification of payment, and the payment is in your Payment History, but you did not receive the money, it is most likely that it was returned to us as a result of the payment settings in your account.
First we advise you to review the payment settings in your account by logging in and making sure that all payment information is correct. If there are errors, make any necessary changes and email us at submit@shutterstock.com.
If the payment info is correct and you use Skrill or PayPal, contact their support desk to make sure there are no issues receiving money to your account with them. Both of these services have restrictions for payments to residents of certain countries. In addition, send us a Change of Address if your mailing address is not correct and you are expecting to receive a check payment.
Once all payment information is correct, please contact us at submit@shutterstock.com and we will process a repayment.
Please note that a repayment of an earlier payment needs to be investigated unlike regular payments that are processed automatically every month. Reissue payments are processed manually and may take a substantial amount of time to be released. Estimated time of release is about 6 weeks. As a result, repayments take longer than regular payments.
