The Management Process
The Management Process is defined by the following activities: (1)planning,(2)controlling,and (3)decision making. The management process describes the functions carried out by managers and empowered workers. Empowering workers to participate in the management process means giving them a greater say in how the company operates. Thus, employee empowerment is the authorizing of operational personnel to plan, control, and make decision without explicit authorization from middle – and higher-level management.
