The researcher proposed color and fabric trends of contemporary thai silk for spring / summer 2016 season of Thailand textile institute to experts in order to review and finalize the most appropriate color tone for the development of woven fabrics of Yokdok-style weaving technique and the graceful trend was chosen. Meanwhile, the researcher adopted the 2016 fashion trends of tharinee paoriskutta from numero magazine to design women’s clothing. The three yokdok-style woven silk pattern selected were adopted to design women’s clothing in forms of three collections with inspirations from 2016 fashion trends from which one collection were chosen by experts. This established a new body of knowledge in designing and developing identities of hand-woven silk patterns using Yokdok style weaving technique by creating added value for product in order to meet of consumers.
