NEW DELHI,AFP –INDAIN defence scientist are fishing a robot designed to clear mine fields and help soldiers work in enemy areas. Officials said yesterday.
“Right now we are testing the robot on level ground and it is working very well ,” said Mathukumalli Vidyasagar ,Director of the Center for Artificial Intellingence and Robotices (CAIR).
CAIR is also building robots which can write letters or play the piano,he said.
But their special robot can avoid obstacles and move by itself. The robot is bettery-driven and has two camaras for “eyes,” the CAIR chief said.
