Cabin crew uniforms of the 1980s didn’t escape the overt, ostentatious glamour that the economic boom triggered. Pretty daring and somewhat questionable prints featured (that would probably fly off the shelves on the high street today). A bold blue, red and white striped two-piece would perhaps have better suited Britain’s librarians than our glamorous flight crew, but Roland Klein‘s offering remained the sky-high costume until the early 1990s.
