During learning tasks, the learner needs help and limited
hints to take the next self-regulated step in his or her learning
process (Corno & Randi, 1997; Vygotsky, 1978). After a task or
assessment, the learners should be able to check if the given
solution is correct and they should be activated to use the feedback
to reflect on the causes of mistakes (Good & Brophy, 2000; Winne,
1997).
