In spite of a diversity of “superresolving” SE methods been
designed so far, their common feature is a dependence of their
spectral functions (SF) on covariance matrix (CM) (or CMinverse
one) of interperiod fluctuations of reflections out of
each range gate in M adjacent intervals of sounding. Due to this
connection, it is naturally to implement various SE methods
using adaptive lattice filters (ALF), which are able to form
different functions of matrix, being inverse to CM, based on
parameters of its special-form matrix-multipliers without explicit
determination of all the elements of these matrices [4–8].
