Where the checks refer to in this Directive show the competent authority that the product does not satisfy the import conditions or where such checks reveal an irregularity. the competent authority in consultation with the person responsible for the load or his representative shall decide:
a) either to re-dispatch the product outside the territories listed in Annex from the same border inspection post to a destination agreed with the person responsible for the load, using the same means of transport within a maximum time limit of 60 days where this is not preclude by the results of the veterinary inspection and health requirements.
In this case, the official veterinarian of the border inspection post must activate the information procedure provided for in the first indent or article 1(1) of Dicision 92/438/EEC.
