depends stronglyonfavorableweatherconditions.Aninterceptsurveywasusedtocollectdataonvisitor
perceptionsabouttheroleofweatherandpossibleclimatechangeontourismingeneral,andtheir
destination selectionspecifically.Atotalof506visitorsparticipatedinthestudy.
The majorityofparticipantsexpressedthatclimatechangewillaffecttourism.Weatherconditions
are importantandinfluence visitors'destinationselection.Statisticallysignificant differencesbetween
age groupsandgenderabouttheeffectsofclimatechangeontourismwereidentified. Byunderstanding
the perceptionsofthevisitors,suitableadaptivestrategiesandearlypreparednessactionsmaybede-
veloped tocopewiththeimpactsofclimatechangetothenature-basedtourismindustryinnational
parks.
