Job Responsibilities:
• Plan, select and purchase the range, type and quantity of products by
- Customer demand (e.g., price, quality and availability)
- Trends
- Store policy
- Budget
• Source new, collection and review existing merchandise to remain competitive.
• Maximize profits and provide a commercially viable range of merchandise at competitive prices.
• Keep up to date and analyses with market trends and reacting to changes in demand
• Managing plans for stock levels
• Meeting suppliers and negotiating terms of contract
• Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products
• Liaising with shop personnel to ensure product/collection supply meets demand
Qualification:
• Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business or other related fields
• Merchandising experience in retail businesses will be an advantage
• Strong English communication & computer skill
• Good at negotiating
• Good at interpersonal skill
