4.10 Discussions with industry experts suggest the following tentative conclusion. The key to e-commerce success in both the short- and medium-term lies in the ongoing practice of a mix of skills rather than any one particular approach (eg such as SEO). It is generally acknowledged that there is no single technology, strategy or marketing plan that differentiates among successful and not so successful e-commerce businesses.
