The theoreticalremoval efficiency is calculated by Eqs. (1) and (2) to be 77.6–
100%, 73.0–99.9%, and 63.9–99.9%, respectively, for these three
gases. The experimental removal efficiencies of the MPPM are in
good agreement with theoretical predictions. The deviations
between the experimental data and theoretical results for these
gases are less than 8.4% at the retention time of 0.3 and 0.5 s.
