Findings: qualitative interpretations
Personal experience
The findings of this study show that nearly two-thirds (63 percent) of the respondents
expressed positive (very satisfied and satisfied) opinions regarding their overall
personal experiences with the program of study they underwent. Close examination of
the nine items measuring this dimension show that they derived their most satisfaction
from social and academic interaction with their peers. Specifically, the participants
were satisfied with the personal relationships they developed with each other (90
percent), and with the opportunities given to them to work in groups (70 percent). The
participants, although satisfied (80 percent) with available courses, expressed least
satisfaction (26 percent) with being given the opportunity to have choice and control
over their academic program.
