Three questions began to emerge regarding the benefit of games in the classroom. By finding the answers to these questions, I would be better prepared to give a strong academic defense to parents, colleagues, and administration regarding the importance of children playing games at school. Therefore the purpose of this study revolves around these three questions: 1. Can strategy-related games be combined with math instruction to enhance math learning? 2. Can strategy-related games help students develop their social interactions with classmates? 3. Can strategy-related games enhance family interactions? Which games do students and their families enjoy playing?
