This dilemma not only confronts business ethics in an academic setting, it is also true for ethics within business settings as well. Even if they could be successful in doing so, few business managers would want to approach ethical issues by making pronouncements of ethical dogma. Like good teachers, good business managers and leaders seek to empower their employees to make their won decisions. But responsible businesses also do not suggest that anything goes or that all values are equal Value relativism in the workplace will likely lead only to power struggles and conflict.
