Dear Writer,
I have read your article about the country living and I would like giving my opinion. I am disagree with some ideas and I will make known why is good to live in it.
First, you wrote that you feel sorry for your friends were surrounded by asphalt and power lines. This makes it seem like the life in the city is humdrum and sad. That’s no true, the city never sleeps. The nightlife is exciting and the shops keeping open until it’s late. You and your family can enjoy the leisure time in many places.
Second, you said that the only people you know they are sick because of bad food. The life in the city doesn’t mean to have an unhealthy habits. It depends of the person. Many people here practice some sport in the parc or the gym, for instance. In my case, I don’t like the fast food and it’s easier for me buy the wholesome food in the supermarket.
But I think the city living is fast sometimes, as you said. We must move from side to side, having to bear the noise, stress, etc. In the country, the wonderful sky at nights, the air fresh, the quietness and the sunrises are incomparable.
There are advantages and disadvantages both city and country, but I would prefer the city. Although, I’ve had chances going to visit the country and it’s very nice. So, it’s a good thing that there are people like you who continue to believe country living is best.
Sincerely,
Paola Chamorro
