Metrafenone concentrations were determined on a Shimadzu
2010-plus GC equipped with an ECD and a DB-1701
(30 m 0.53 mm 1 lm) capillary column. The injector was
operated at 250 C with an injection volume of 1 lL, and the split
ratio of 5. The column temperature program was as follows: the
initial temperature was 120 C, increased to 200 C at the rate of
10 C/min and kept for 5 min, then increased to 240 C at the rate
of 15 C/min, kept for 17 min. Nitrogen was used as carrier gas. The
detector of ECD was operated at 280 C. The approximate retention
time of metrafenone was 22.2 min.
