The purpose of this study was to determine the relation among the running
distance, heart rate and anaerobic threshold of ten local football referees (Age X:
27.03 ± 2.058) during matches they control in the Amateur League. Therefore, the
heart rates of the referees were recorded onto Polar trademark memory watches and
their distances throughout the matches were marked on a 1/ 400 scaled field as six
types of movement with different symbols. Recorded heart rates during the matches
were transmitted to the computer with interface and the average heart rates for each
half were calculated separately on the computer
