We are pleased to introduce an automated payment program in collaboration with our main banking partner, Citibank. We have successfully implemented this program in America, Europe and Singapore which reduces the risks to our Suppliers and is more informative. As one of our valuable and important Suppliers, we would like to share the benefits that this improvement would bring to you.
What are the advantages?
The main advantages are:
i. Ensures that the payment is sent securely and straight to the bank through an encrypted channel. You will now receive your payments electronically and reducing any possible risks to the minimum.
ii. A switch to our main banking partner Citibank which Hotelbeds Group has established a strong collaboration globally.
iii. The system generates an automatic Payment Notice upon execution of the payment, directly to the email address in our system records. This include the breakdown of invoices paid, indicating the bank account of the transfer and your key account manager.
(Kindly note that the payment notice email is send on the date that payment instruction is sent to Citibank. The funds will be remitted into your account depending on each countries’ banking clearance system, for same country bank transfer usually is two days, for cross border transfer the standard is two-three days).
During December 2016 to January 2017, we will progressively migrate your account to be processed via the automated payment program. It is very important to keep your bank details and email updated in our system, you can access to Hotelbeds Supplier Finance Web to check the master details we have from your company and request any change if required.
