The carbon selectivities of aromatics show benzene, naphthalene and its derivatives are main products. Benzene selectivity increased first and then decreased with the maximum value of 43.4% at PE proportion of 0.33, while the selectivity of naphthalene and its derivatives presented the opposite trend with the minimum value of 23.6% at PE proportion of 0.33. Toluene selectivity decreased from 18.1% to 10.6% with increasing PE proportion, whereas xylene selectivity increased first and then decreased with the maximum value of 9.8% at PE proportion of 0.66. PE is a polymerization product of ethylene. Therefore, ethylene is the main product in the produced olefins produced by decomposition (selectivity around 90%).
