In the cyber world the Internet technologies we depend on every day not only present us with great convenience and efficiency, but also change the former living and working habits and pose some new challenges to individual physical health. It would be impossible to prevent the Internet entering our lives. Instead, Internet will consistently and increasingly seeps into every nook and cranny of our lives as various smart devices continue to surge that allows for Internet use anytime and anywhere. Thus, special attention should be paid to challenges to individual physical health associated with frequent Internet use. Our results suggest that it might be necessary to also take into consideration the adverse effects of further Internet use in inappropriate time and ways. It is hoped that as more and more research are focused on this field, the negative effects of Internet use on individual physical health will be gradually eliminated to achieve that people are no longer enjoying the Internet at the expense of the physical health.
