Financial Reporting
Ensure specified Company financial reports are completed on time and in accordance with Company accounting requirements
Provide comments and analysis of financial results with respect to variances from budget and forecasts
Ensure company statutory accounts are prepared on time in accordance with local statutory requirement and liaise with the company auditor
Budget & Forecasts
Work to determine budget and forecasts
Prepare annual financial budget and regular forecast consistent with reports on time and in accordance with corporate requirements
General Accounting Controls
Ensure accuracy of the Company's Financial Statements through the process of balance sheet and profit and loss review
Ensure all balance sheets items are analyzed regularly and advise CFO of any significant over/under provision especially provision for stock obsolescence, doubtful debts, sales allowances and accruals
Legal/Statutory
Ensure the Company conforms to all legal taxation, and other government requirements and that adequate documentation is maintained in respect of compliance
Advise management of any changes in legislation, taxation, financial incentives etc. that may affect the company or its personnel
Taxation
Prepare annual tax returns for review and submission by the Company tax representatives
Ensure the timely lodgement of all taxation actions
Ensure timely payment of all taxes
Professional Know-how
Qualified Accountant
Sound experience in a commercial environment, preferably gained from multinational company
10 years + accounting experience, minimum 5 years in a supervisory/managerial role
Good understanding of internal control and Tax regulation
Business Understanding:
Sound commercial acumen, interprets complex financial information
Thinks and operates in a global context
Good understanding of product and brand building

Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written at all levels
