X, Y and Z, with two movements in the revolving direction being realized by rotational axes A and B. Two horizontal line movements of the five-axis automatic ultrasonic scan- ning equipment have adopted a stepper motor outputting axis driven ball-screw directly, realizing the movement of the X and Y movements of the worktable. The Z direction movement has adopted a gear and rack machine, stepper motor directly driving the gear to move the rack up and down. The A and B directions of automatic scanning system mainly control the probes’ direction, and ensure the probes’ ultrasonic beam uprightness to the test surface. The realiza- tion of the revolving movement depends on the stepper motor to directly drive. Amongst them, the rotation of probes’ clamp body is driven by the B directional stepper motor and the rotation of the B direction motor and probes are driven by the A directional stepper motor [1].
