YALA, 3 December 2015, (NNT) - The Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center (SBPAC) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with auto parts manufacturer, Summit Corporation Company Limited, on generating more jobs for southern graduates.
The signing ceremony was held at the SBPAC office in Yala province. Under this agreement, Summit Corporation would accept vocational graduates to work in its affiliated companies. The MOU is also designed to help new graduates prepare for the era of the ASEAN Economic Community, which will officially commence in less than a month.
Meanwhile, the SBPAC will dispatch officials to determine the corporation's labor demands, and will coordinate with employment agencies in finding suitable graduate candidates for the corporation. The details and subsequent implementation of the MOU will be compiled into a comprehensive report for similar programs in the future.
