Sodium caprylate (NaC8) is a surfactant, and is known to inhibit
the DNA synthesis and to release cytoplasmic protein inducing
fibrolast damage [19]. Recentlywe have investigated five dipeptides
with different structures in mixed aqueous sodium carboxylate
solution in a wide range of concentrations of the co-solvent [13–
17]. According to our knowledge, the interactions between dipeptides
with NaC8 have never been determined before. Therefore, it
is interesting to investigate the behavior of some dipeptides in
micellar solutions of sodium caprylate. Dipeptides have been
chosen because they are among the building units of complex biomolecules
such as proteins. They are also important biological molecules
due to their wide range of applications in drug production
