The final exam is divided into 2 parts, reading and writing.
Part I: Reading
Students need to read one 5-paragraph problem and solution essay.
The questions are on: 
1. Topic of the passage
2. Main Idea
3 Looking for supports
4. Context Clues
** Students need to write the answers "IN THEIR OWN WORDS". If they copy the answer from the reading passage, their answers "WILL NOT BE GRADED".
Part II: Writing
1. Students are required to write a "PROBLEM-SOLUTION OUTLINE" on the given topic. 
2.Three quotes will be given, so students need to develop their body paragraphs for the possible solutions from the 3 given quotes.
3. They also need to know how to do in-text citation correctly. 
4. The outline must be written in the "COMPLETE SENTENCES".
