The heat sink was designed and manufactured by ourselves,
and it can be used to cool the spacecraft electronics.
The designed cooling capacity is 50 W, which can satisfy the
actual cooling requirements. Under the design condition the
evaporating temperature is 8 C and the superheat is 2 C. The
heat sink consists of internal snake channels as shown in
Fig. 3, whose material is aluminum alloy. The heat transfer
process in heat sink varies with refrigerant phase change.
When a refrigeration system work steadily, the two-phase
refrigerant flow into heat sink, and out in superheated phase
as shown in Fig. 4. According to the design cooling capacity
and the evaporating parameters, the design parameters of
heat sinks can be calculated, as shown in Table 1.
