Thus, the foregoing study indicated the availability of genotypes possessing desirable quality
characteristics namely, CHF-CA-17, CHF-CA-18, CHF-CA-21 for
high capsaicin and oleoresin. CHF-CA-6, CHF-CA-17, CHF-CA-21
were identified as promising genotypes exhibiting better phytochemical composition and potential antioxidant and free radical
scavenging activities when compared altogether among the genotypes evaluated.
