As we spoke on the phone earlier this morning , we would like to insisted that Nidec continue using Nippon Express Service.
Reason because : Nippon Exp operation in Singapore is most flexible.
They provide fastest respond to our cargo booking.
For example , we can call as late as 4 pm, they can make it to collect from our store latest by 5.45 pm.
DHL, FedEx would not be able to collect after 5.30 pm within such a short notice. They will not come to collect any cargo after 4 pm.
Another issue with DHL is they need the shipping documents, ProForma Invoice , packing list and cargo to be at only one collecting point.
If the cargo are located at two different points , two separate bookings are required. It could be at additional costs to NPT.
Sometime , DHL can not allow collection of invoice from SCR office and cargo at Kyocera Singapore store in the same day.
They will come to collect the invoice on the next day after collect the cargo in Kyocera store.
As a result , with DHL the delivery time will be increased by at least 1 day , as additional step of cargo collection from Kyocera store has to be made.
Anyway , we have made big notice to Nippon Exp Thailand about the in land cost in Singapore too and we believed , they will try to contact you about this pricing issue soon krup.
