9.2 Execution Plan
9.2.1 Safety Considerations
Facilitation of this work will require the installation and ongoing inspection of scaffolding for the project work. This work by its nature will require workers to “work over water” and “work at height” often. Additionally most of the project work will require welding, cutting and grinding on a live remote platform (hot work). As such the job supervisor will be required to be properly trained in hot work permitting, procedures, and fire watch attendant duties, as well as scaffolding inspection. It will be the responsibility of the FE Offshore Construction Coordinator to assure that a properly trained supervisor is utilized for this project. The job site supervisor will be additionally responsible for the daily conducting and documentation of “tool box meetings” during the project duration. These meetings are to focus on the planned day’s activities and their potential impact to worker safety and health.
