Political poll
Kids have their say
Almost 90 percent of children say they don’t aspire to a career in politics, with many believing the job to be boring and marr by petty squabbling, according to a Suan Dusit Poll.
The findings, released on January 9, showed that about 61.5 percent of respondents thought politics is dull and blighted by bickering. About 19 percent believe that politics is pushing the country backwards and making people miserable.
Another 15 percent said politicians are selfish and corrupt and set bad examples for the public. The poll surveyed 1,337 children between January 6 and 8.
